Playroll Partner Program Terms

This page provides a summary of Playroll’s Referral Partner Program for approved partners. It is not a legal contract - all commercial terms are governed by your signed Master Partner Agreement. These terms govern participation in Playroll’s Referral Partner Program for approved partners referring Employer of Record (EOR), Contractor Management (CM), or Global Payroll Manager (GPM) clients through a signed agreement.

1. Program Overview

This program is open to approved, signed partners only - such as consultancies, affiliates, investors, or integration partners. Your eligibility for commission, tiering, co-marketing, and client incentives begins only after signing the Master Partner Agreement.

If you haven’t signed an agreement, you’re not eligible for referral payouts or tier benefits.

2. Eligibility

To participate, you must:

Have a signed Master Partner Agreement with Playroll.
Comply with our partner code of conduct.
Submit referrals through approved channels (e.g. PRM system, referral form, or email).

Which Means

You must have a signed agreement, follow the rules, and submit leads through approved methods to qualify.

3. Commission Structure

Playroll rewards approved partners for each referred company that becomes a paying customer.

Fixed payouts:

Sales-qualified referral (EOR only): $200 - triggered when a discovery call is completed and pricing has been shared.
Successful customer activation:
- $800 for EOR or Global Payroll Manager.
- $30 for Contractor Management.

Client Won (up to 12 months):

EOR: $30 - $40 per active employee/month.
Contractor Management: $3 per active contractor/month.

Note: Actual reward amounts and payout criteria are governed by your Master Partner Agreement. Payouts are triggered after client onboarding and first invoice is paid.‍

Which Means

You’ll earn when a company you refer becomes an active customer, not just for filling out a form.

4. Partner Tiers

Tier placement is based on referred annual recurring revenue (ARR):

Silver - Entry tier for all approved partners.
Gold - $75,000+ in referred ARR.
Platinum - $150,000+ in referred ARR.

Tiers are reviewed quarterly and include enhanced benefits such as co-marketing access, dedicated support, and increased payout rates.

Which Means

Your tier (and rev-share rate) is tied to cumulative performance across all product. This is reviewed quarterly and not just individual line items.

5. Payout Terms

Payouts are issued within 45 days of Playroll receiving full payment from the referred company.
Payouts are batched monthly.
The minimum payout threshold is $100 USD.
Payments are made via bank transfer.
It’s your responsibility to provide accurate payment details.

Which Means

We process payouts in a monthly batch after Playroll gets paid. Earnings under $100 will roll over until they meet the threshold.

6. Brand, Marketing & Conduct

Partners are permitted to use Playroll brand assets, sales materials, and enablement content as defined in your signed agreement. Misuse of the brand or violation of the following guidelines may result in termination from the program.

Prohibited activities include:

Submitting false, misleading, or non-consensual referrals.
Using spam, bots, or deceptive tactics to drive traffic.
Running paid ads that bid on Playroll brand keywords (e.g. “Playroll” in Google Ads).
Republishing or modifying Playroll brand materials without approval.
Sharing lead information without consent (GDPR/POPIA violation).
Presenting yourself as a Playroll employee or official representative.

Which Means

We expect trusted marketing collaboration, not aggressive or deceptive tactics. Violations may result in removal from the program and revoked payout.

7. Compliance & Confidentiality

All partner activity must comply with GDPR, POPIA, and other applicable privacy laws.
You are responsible for ensuring that any lead you refer has provided valid consent to be contacted by Playroll.
Some materials may be considered confidential under your signed Master Partner Agreement or any associated NDA.

Which Means

You’re responsible for lawful data handling. Playroll won’t tolerate data misuse or breaches.

8. Termination & Amendments

You may leave the program at any time with 30 days’ written notice.
Playroll may terminate your participation with 30 days’ notice, or immediately in the case of fraud, misconduct, or brand misuse.
These public-facing terms may be updated with 30 days’ notice.
Your signed Master Partner Agreement always takes precedence over this summary.

Keep your performance and conduct aligned with the rules or risk losing access and compensation.
