What does Playroll's Entity Launch service include?

Entity Launch covers everything needed to get your legal entity incorporated and operational. This includes company registration, statutory filings, tax and VAT enrollment, social security registration, local banking setup, and full compliance structuring. You'll have a dedicated team of specialists guiding you through every step until your entity is ready to run. Once your entity is live, we take care of payroll setup.

What's not included in Entity Launch?

Entity Launch covers incorporation and setup, not ongoing entity maintenance (annual returns, corporate secretarial services, and ongoing compliance filings post-launch). We'll connect you with trusted maintenance partners for this. We believe in being upfront about scope so there are no surprises.

How long does entity setup take?

It depends on the country. Most jurisdictions take between 4 and 12 weeks from kickoff to a live entity. Some markets move faster; others, particularly those with more complex regulatory requirements take longer. Your dedicated specialist will give you a country-specific timeline at the start of your project.

Can I use Playroll for entity setup if I'm not already a customer?

Yes, entity setup is available as a standalone service. Many customers come to us specifically for entity incorporation, then choose to run payroll through Playroll once their entity is operational.

When should I move from EOR to my own entity?

A good rule of thumb is when you have consistent headcount of 15 or more employees in a single location. At that point, the cost and control benefits of a local entity typically outweigh the simplicity of EOR – and the switch starts to make commercial sense. It's also worth considering if you're signing local contracts, building a long-term market presence, or looking to strengthen your employer brand in that region.
