1. Program Overview
As an affiliate, you’ll receive a unique tracking link. When a referred company clicks your link, signs a Playroll contract, becomes a paying customer, and meets the eligibility criteria below, you’ll earn a one-time commission based on the product they purchase.
Which Means
You share your link - and when your referral becomes a paying customer, you get rewarded. It’s that simple.
2. Eligibility Requirements
To join and remain in the program, you must:
- Be 18 years or older and legally eligible to enter into agreements.
- Comply with relevant data protection and anti-spam laws (e.g. GDPR, POPIA, CAN-SPAM).
- Receive explicit approval from Playroll to join the program.
Playroll reserves the right to accept or reject any affiliate application at its sole discretion.
Which Means
The program is open to independent third-party promoters who meet the legal requirements. Participation is subject to Playroll’s approval.
3. Successful Referrals
A “successful referral” is defined as a company that:
- Clicks your unique affiliate link,
- Signs a Playroll Master Service Agreement (MSA),
- Onboards at least one employee for Employer of Record (EOR) Services,
- Pays their first invoice to Playroll for any product.
To qualify for commission:
- The company must be new to Playroll and hasn't actively engaged with Playroll’s sales team within the past 90 days.
- They must sign and activate within 90 days of clicking your affiliate link.
- Referrals must be attributed via your tracked link and not be self-referred or duplicated.
Which Means
You’ll only earn commission once the company you referred becomes a real, paying customer, not just someone who signs up or books a demo. If a company is already in our pipeline, you won’t earn commission for sending them our way again. This helps us keep things fair and avoid double-dipping.
4. Commission Structure
You’ll receive a one-time payout based on the product the successful referred client purchases, issued after their first payment is received by Playroll.
- $1,000 USD for companies that sign up and pay for Playroll’s EOR service.
- $800 USD for companies that sign up and pay for Playroll's Global Payroll Manager service.
- $30 USD for companies that sign up and pay for Playroll's Contractor Management service.
Which Means
You don’t get paid when someone clicks your link or signs a contract, only after they start paying us. No monthly revenue share or recurring commission applies.
5. Payout Terms
- Payouts are issued within 45 days of Playroll receiving full payment from the referred company.
- Payouts are batched monthly.
- The minimum payout threshold is $100 USD.
- Payments are made via bank transfer.
- It’s your responsibility to provide accurate payment details.
Which Means
Once your referral pays us, we’ll batch your payout the following month. You’ll need to cross $100 in earnings before we issue anything. Ensure your bank details are accurate to avoid any delays.
6. Prohibited Activities
You may be removed from the program if you engage in any of the following:
- Submitting false, misleading, or non-consensual referrals,
- Using spam, bots, or deceptive tactics to drive traffic,
- Running paid ads that bid on Playroll brand keywords (e.g. “Playroll” in Google Ads),
- Republishing or modifying Playroll brand materials without approval,
- Sharing lead information without consent (GDPR/POPIA violation),
- Presenting yourself as a Playroll employee or official representative.

If you try to game the system or break the rules, we’ll remove you from the program and block payouts. Keep it clean, refer genuine leads, as fake submissions or misrepresentation of your relationship with Playroll is strictly prohibited.
7. Branding and Promotion
Affiliates may only use Playroll-approved marketing materials and must follow brand guidelines. You may not imply that you work for or officially represent Playroll. Unauthorized promotional behavior or misuse of brand assets may result in removal from the program.

You may promote Playroll using approved materials, but you may not present yourself as an employee or official representative of the company.
8. Data Protection and Privacy
You agree to:
- Only refer individuals or companies who’ve given explicit consent to be contacted.
- Comply with all applicable data privacy laws, including GDPR, POPIA, and CAN-SPAM.
- Use your affiliate privileges in good faith, aligned with Playroll’s brand integrity.
Misuse or unauthorized sharing of personal data will result in immediate removal from the program.
Which Means
You must only refer leads who have given explicit consent to be contacted. Compliance with data privacy laws is mandatory to remain in the program.
9. Program Changes and Termination
Playroll may change, pause, or discontinue the affiliate program at any time. If updates are made to these terms, you’ll be given 30 days’ notice. Continued participation after changes are communicated constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Playroll may suspend or terminate any affiliate relationship at its discretion, especially in cases of policy violations.
