Who can partner with Playroll and what’s the first step?

Any firm that helps companies hire or manage global employees can partner with Playroll! This includes HR consultancies, recruiters, SaaS vendors, VC or PE networks, mobility and tax advisors.

What partnership models do you support?

Our HR partner program spans five tracks:

  • Affiliate link: Share, track performance, and earn!
  • Referral registration: You introduce clients to us, and earn revenue from the success.
  • API integration: Seamlessly embed Playroll in your tech stack.
  • Co‑sell: We establish a joint pipeline for strategic deals.
  • Reseller: White‑label Playroll so you own the client relationship end‑to‑end.

How do referrals and payouts work?

Payouts will vary by product (Employer of Record, Global Payroll or Contractor Management) and by your tier. For EOR referrals you’re paid at three points: when the lead becomes an SQL (sales‑qualified lead), at activation (when the first payroll run happens), and via a monthly share of seat revenue for the first 12 months.


We reconcile at month‑end and pay within 45–60 days. There’s no cap on earnings. The exact amounts and triggers will be covered in your Partnership Agreement. We’ll go over the details during our first kick-off call, and the definitions are listed in the Partner Terms & Conditions.

Is it free to join the program?

Yes, joining our HR partner program is absolutely free – discounted pricing only comes into play when you or your clients make use of Playroll’s products. Onboarding, enablement, and support are on us – we only win when you do.

What kind of support and resources can I expect as a partner?

Every partner is assigned a dedicated Partner Success Manager with direct access via email and Slack. You also gain entry to a self‑serve enablement hub that houses pricing tools, employment calculators, playbooks, and ready‑made campaign assets. As you progress to higher tiers, you gain access to extras such as featured marketplace placement, custom collateral, and Quarterly Business Reviews.

How do the partner tiers work?

All partners start at Silver with core earnings, support, and marketing. As your referred revenue or seat count grows, you advance to Gold and Platinum. This unlocks higher revenue share, marketing priority, faster support cadences, and bonus accelerators. Tier reviews happen automatically at the end of each calendar quarter.

What key questions should I ask any EOR provider before referring them?

Use this easy six-point checklist. It’s short enough to remember, but deep enough to expose red flags:

  1. Do they own legal entities in each country or rely on third parties? Ownership affects speed, cost, and compliance control.
  2. From signed proposal to first payroll, what’s the average onboarding timeline? World-class providers set up compliant contracts in ≤ 7 days.
  3. What is the fully loaded monthly cost per employee, including statutory taxes, benefits, FX, and “hidden” platform or off-cycle fees?
  4. How do they protect client IP, manage GDPR/data privacy, and handle terminations or misclassification risk?
  5. Will my clients and I get a named Client Success Manager, or just ticket queues? What are guaranteed response times?
  6. Is revenue share paid on every current and future employee, and how transparent is the tracking and payout process?
