Playroll is looking for an Employee Success Manager to join our Employee Success Team and help create a smooth, positive onboarding experience for employees hired through our Employer of Record platform. As one of the first people employees interact with, you'll guide them through onboarding, explain their employment relationship with Playroll, and ensure everything is completed accurately and on time.This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships while keeping processes running seamlessly behind the scenes. You'll work closely with Client Success, Legal, Payroll, Operations, and Product teams to deliver an exceptional employee experience while maintaining compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency at scale.
What You'll Do
- Guide newly hired employees through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth, engaging, and well-supported experience from start to finish.
- Build trusted relationships with employees and serve as a key point of contact during their early employment journey.
- Explain Playroll’s role as Employer of Record, helping employees understand employment processes, responsibilities, and available support resources.
- Review onboarding information and documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate employment agreement preparation and completion, ensuring terms align with client requirements and local employment regulations.
- Partner closely with Client Success, Legal, Payroll, Operations, and Product teams to resolve onboarding issues and improve employee experiences.
- Monitor onboarding progress, proactively identify risks or delays, and take action to ensure timely onboarding completion.
- Maintain accurate employee records and onboarding documentation while adhering to data privacy and compliance standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes, workflows, and employee communications as the business continues to scale.
- Support operational excellence by contributing to process documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Employee Success function.
What You'll Bring
- Experience managing employee onboarding, employee support, customer success, HR operations, or similar people-focused processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to create trust and deliver exceptional experiences across diverse employee populations.
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence explaining complex processes and employment-related information in a clear and approachable way.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple onboarding cases and competing priorities.
- Experience working with documentation, contracts, compliance requirements, or operational processes where precision and consistency are essential.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying issues, removing obstacles, and improving employee experiences.
- Experience working with systems, workflows, and process-driven environments while maintaining a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, evolving business where adaptability, ownership, and continuous improvement are highly valued.
