Playroll has launched a new Referral Program this month! This program allows all Playroll users to submit referrals. The update is primarily for clients to ensure they receive exclusive benefits—but employees and contractors are also welcome to join!

Using the Referral Program is straightforward:

  1. Navigate to the bottom left of the navigation panel and click the “Referral Program” button.
  2. Fill in the referral form with the required details, such as the referral's contact information.
  3. Once the referral becomes a paying customer—meaning they have an employee and at least one month of payroll has been processed—you’ll receive a $300 voucher.
  4. After submission, you’ll see a thank you window and can review the terms and conditions of the program.

So, Who Can Make a Referral?

All users of Playroll’s Platform are welcome to make a referral!

What Do I Have to Do?

All you have to do is refer a new client to Playroll by completing the form.

What is a New Client?

A new client is a company that Playroll hasn’t yet had contact with. This referral program is not intended for referring employees to Playroll.

Do I Get Anything for the Referral?

Absolutely! For each referral you make, you will be entitled to a voucher to the value of $300. The type of voucher you receive will depend on the jurisdiction you are in. Each time you make a successful referral, you are entitled to another voucher.

What is a Successful Referral?

A successful referral is one where the company that you have referred signs an agreement with Playroll, onboards its first employee, and pays that employee its first salary. Once the first salary is paid to that employee, you will receive your voucher. You will be entitled to one voucher for each successful referral, irrespective of how many employees are employed by that client through Playroll.

Examples of Use Cases

  • Client A has a friend who runs a small business and could benefit from Playroll’s services. They refer their friend through the program, and once the friend’s business becomes a paying customer, Client A receives a $300 voucher.
  • Client B is part of a professional network where members frequently look for reliable payroll services. They share the referral link with their network, leading to multiple successful referrals and vouchers.
