We’re looking for an exceptional Content Specialist with a sharp writing eye and a real drive to grow Playroll’s brand visibility across the channels where our audience spends time. You’ll help shape and execute our content strategy, creating strong B2B content that positions Playroll in front of HR leaders and business decision-makers. Key responsibilities include writing SEO-optimised B2B content, partnering with the SEO manager, and managing Playroll’s presence across social and community platforms. You’ll also support content distribution with the Content Manager to drive leads and ensure our voice is consistently seen and trusted across the web. We value experimentation in tone, format, and channels to understand what truly drives impact. You’ll use data, measurement, and reporting as tools—not obstacles—to refine performance. What You'll Do
- Write and publish strategic blog content aligned to the content calendar, proactively proposing new ideas to strengthen Playroll’s content pipeline and reach.
- Optimise all content for SEO in collaboration with the SEO Manager, improving rankings, impressions, and organic lead generation through continuous refinement.
- Own Playroll’s LinkedIn and social media presence, writing, scheduling, and publishing content that builds engagement, visibility, and follower growth.
- Experiment with hooks, formats, and messaging across social channels to identify what resonates, using insights to refine brand voice and performance.
- Build and manage Playroll’s presence on Reddit, Quora, and HR/global hiring communities by contributing valuable content that establishes trust and authority.
- Support broader brand visibility initiatives, ensuring Playroll is represented across web sources and platforms indexed by AI agents and LLMs.
- Monitor and report performance using GA4, HubSpot, and social analytics tools, translating insights into actionable recommendations for content strategy.
- Collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams to align messaging, ensuring consistency across marketing and sales enablement materials.
- Stay ahead of B2B content marketing, SEO, and community trends, proactively bringing fresh ideas and improvements to the team.
- Apply strong writing, editing, and analytical skills with a test-and-learn mindset, continuously improving content quality and impact.

- Shows genuine passion for social media, actively experimenting with approaches that increase brand visibility and strengthen brand voice.
- Applies a curious, test-and-learn mindset, confidently trialling new angles, formats, and tones and iterating based on performance insights.
- Brings experience in content or marketing with a solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and how they support organic growth.
- Uses social media scheduling and analytics tools effectively to plan, publish, and evaluate content performance across channels.
- Maintains exceptional attention to detail with strong writing, editing, and collaboration skills to ensure high-quality output.
- Organises and manages workload effectively, demonstrating strong project management and time management skills in fast-paced environments.
Bonus Points For
- Brings B2B SaaS experience with a strong understanding of how content, positioning, and storytelling drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline impact.
- Has 2+ years’ experience in content, communications, or social/community management roles, building and executing multi-channel content strategies.
- Manages brand presence on LinkedIn and community platforms such as Reddit and Quora, building visibility through consistent, relevant engagement.
- Understands European and/or North American marketing contexts, tailoring tone, messaging, and strategy for regional audiences and business environments.
- Familiar with generative engine optimisation (GEO) and AI search visibility strategies, including improving presence in AI-cited and structured content sources.
- Uses tools such as GA4, HubSpot, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to track performance, optimise SEO, and inform data-driven content and growth decisions.
